BREAKING NEWS: UEMIS Returns

The assets of the bankrupt UEMIS AG dive computer maker have been purchased by Markus Adam and his brother of Switzerland. Markus is the Quality and IT Manger for ICU Scandinavia. Adams says they will be supporting existing users and reviving the UEMIS business. They expect to have a more public announcement in a few days. We will have more as the story develops.... read more

UEMIS BANKRUPTCY UPDATE: Asset List Available–10 days to respond.

The company handling the UEMIS AG Bankruptcy (more at http://www.scubagadget.com/?p=1532), Speich Liquidations AG, has sent us the list of the assets available for sale. The list (in German), which does not seem to include any intellectual property, covers everything from full SDAs (UEMIS Dive computers) and OxySpys, to parts and on down to screws, shelves and coffee makers. Uemis Bankrupt; UPDATES

Swiss company UEMIS AG, the makers of remarkable Uemis Zurich SDA dive computer that we recently named an “Editors Choice” has gone into bankruptcy. The message on the UEMIS website says the are “no longer handling orders” and gives contact information for the lawyers in charge of the case. Little else is known at this point.
