The first Northwest Dive & Travel Expo in 25 years returns.
The dive magazine, Nortwest Dive News, who’s slogan is “we know diving cold,” is sponsoring a show that may get nothwest divers to doff their drysuits and try a tropical destination for a change. But the Northwest Dive & Travel Expo is much more that that. Besides giving divers and non-divers the chance to connect with dive businesses and resorts from around the worlds, thew will also be able to explore the incredible diving venues and local merchants from the Puget Sound and the Nortwest. The show will be held at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center and offers consumers an opportunity to experience the world of scuba diving through unique hands-on demonstrations, workshops, seminars and contests. The NWDN Treasure Hunt 2008 will be a part of the events on Saturday Morning at nearby Owen Beach. Other show features include:
- 129 interactive and entertaining exhibits and vendor booths.
- Try Scuba FREE in the indoor DEMO pool.
- See and learn about new and innovative products.
- Attend manufacturer and educational seminars to learn new dive skills.
- Talk to resort owners and trip providers to get ideas for future trips.
- Get great deals on dive equipment and travel.
- Talk with owners and senior management of all kinds of dive companies for products, services and travel destinations
