You must remove your dive boots in the middle of the lake!
Homeland security is bringing you more wacky rules. Now Americans who cross into Canadian waters to fish or scuba dive will have to deal with new security requirements. Passenger on dive boats will need two forms of identification so ship captains can forward the information to the Department of Homeland Security. Passports will be mandatory next year as one form of ID. The may also face interviews with unseen customs officers on videophones operated by the government. Before returning to port the captain will call customs to see if anyone on board is wanted for questioning. If you want to learn more see the artical on ohio.com
